This is the store that I lived down the block from when I was growing up in Granger, WA in the early 90's. I remember it as being a nice, family oriented store at the the center of town and now (2008) it's 80% beer and 20% WIC products. Granger really needs a grocery store.

Kanthea is a sweet, funny, goofy girl, but she really wanted to look tough and "hardcore". So, we made her into a Mexican gangster girl. She played the part quite well. (Note the fake tattoos by near her eye, over her heart, and on her hand.) When she showed up at my door, I had to take a second to realize it was her, since I live in a neighborhood where cholas and rucas are a common site.
