This particular outline was meant for characters. It was aight.. looked okay in the book but had its ups and downs.
I know that some people think that the "see-thru" tattoo design is played out, but I have a legitimate reason for choosing this design idea and location. :-)
Several years ago I had a work injury which eventually required surgery. Fusing two of my vertebrae together, removing a couple discs, adding cadaver bone, etc. Despite the surgery being a success, I still experienced nerve damage which has left that shoulder essentially useless and always in pain.
Unfortunately internal injuries like that are a blessing and a curse. The "curse" part is because nobody knows how broken I really am in that area, so everyone thinks that I'm fine. This disability has affected my life in more ways than you can imagine, so I guess I just wanted something on the outside that shows how I feel on the inside.
So I opted for the see-thru design with torn / stressed muscles and a cracked collar bone underneath.
Thanks for reading. ;-)
Kim has come to one of our henna workshops before and came back for round 2! This time for some designs on her hands and products!
Starting to hand-paint the design onto the t-shirt.

So if you've creeped on either my or Jose's photostream, you'd see that we had this little battle going about our elbow tattoos. It seems we both got very similar tattoos around the same time without knowing eachother, so it's been a grudge match since then. ....mines sweeter...Besides the chunk I took out of it from that skateboard accident :( Snapped for us by Mr. Battle Strobist: 5d Mark ii Profoto 7b Profoto head w/ bdish boomed overhead (held by Conor) Profotohead to right on wall 85mm f1.8 Cybersync CSRB
